A Car Crashes into Peking Buffet in Batavia

Over the weekend, Batavia Fire and Mercy Ambulance responded to an incident where a black sedan crashed into the front of Peking Buffet next to BJ's in Batavia.

Video News Service reports, that the elderly male driver of the vehicle claims his foot slipped off the brake pedal when attempting to park, and accidentally mashed the gas. The driver suffered no injuries and no charges were filed against the man.

Peking Buffet was forced to request Code Enforcement as the damage to the front of the building was rather extensive. Fortunately at the time of the incident no one was seated near where the vehicle struck and the Buffet was able to remain open.
